i hope they have a tier five, my husband has worked a long time, and has been unemployed for about a year now and he needs this tier 5 i work but only get paid every 2 weeks, we have 2 small children and they are in school, my checks berley cover bills and food, money does not go far any more. i have no clue what is going to happen to our family, there is school fee's and much more that is needed and we don't have the money for none of it, how are people going to pay bills and eat when there is no sorta income comming in and now adays both parents have to work just to keep there heads above water, it is stress full and causes problems with the parents because there is no extra income, that makes it hard on the whole family, you want to give your kids a better life then what you had but now a days it is hard, if anyone is like us when a bill comes in you have to choose witch one is going to be paid and witch one can wait, more and more familys are lossing there house, cars and all but family can't help out either now cause they got to do the same things you are trying to make it. we live in a small town and there are no jobs here and you have no money to drive to go out of town cause there is no income. help the poeple at home before you go to other country and help we made this country what it is and the goverment is just bringing it down, help your home before you help another home. i watch a thing on tv were people last everything they had and are living in tunels out side of citys because they have no were else to go, if something doesn't happen soon that could be all of us while the big timers are enjoying there selfs. they don't know what it is like to struggel if they had to live a week in our shoes they mite be willing to help the little people out.

I hope the tier 5 extension goes through so people can prepare to live in their cars.

I have a job and this freaks me out enough as a single person. If I become unemployed, I'll put a cap on my truck and plan on living out of it once my cash reserves dwindle to ~$10,000 - no point in blasting through savings paying for rent and services in the unlikely hope of gainful employment in - what - 9 to 10 months average? Second to a vehicle, camping equipment will become a most valuable asset.

Hopefully the criminalization of vagrancy will relax a bit after college grads and artisan trade types start hitting the streets. I wonder what homeless camps full of librarians, I.T. folks and master electricians will be like.

Plan for it. The world will be shocked at the poverty we have succumbed to. We will be forgotten, though, and our nations golden age may very well fade into history like that of so many others before.

Please pass Tier 5. I have no money for gas. I am actively searching for employment every day. There is age discrimination. I am turning 53 next week, have skils. I am on my own, had to leave my cat behind, lost my apartment, now sleeping on family and friends couches. Destitute.

I cannot believe we have gotten to this point in this country. Spend spend spend, Government is way too big and all they do is spend, except to help the people who actually helped to elect them. Humm. That makes a lot of sense. The longer this standoff continues, the angrier the people in this country are going to get. I thought this was a country for the people, by the people. It's not anymore, it's the government holding American's hostage by denying the very basic's, food, water, shelter, and healthcare..... There seemed to be no trouble passing the healthcare reform bill, which by the way, will cost everyone, more money.

I don't understand how Congress are just watching people lose homes, not eat or be able to provide for their families. It's crazy. If this doesn't pass, people in this country will have lost all hope, especially with government.

My name is Vanessa Spencer I have been out of work for over 2 years so I listen to what's being said out there which is go back to school at my age of 50 years old nobody want to hire me no matter how much education that I have it is really hard and I am now living off my kids which they have family's of their own. I can't understand congress they act like the money is coming out of their pockets I really don't wish this on nobody being with a job when you have worked all your life. Maybe congress need to be voted out the office because this don't make now since I just wonder how the hell will one of them feel without food on their table on having one of their family memebers to pay their bills. Pass the Tier 5 ext so we can feed our family to.
